Woo replies: "So was I a bit when I was looking across the internet for some reference photos. The only ones I could find seemed to show the actual trap part of the plant at the end of some leafy part." | |

| 17 Jun 2003 | Anonymous | Loading...I think the picture is sick. Are you a pedafile Edward P. Woo replies: "One can't help but assume that the author of this asinine comment made the other comments of equally low quality in the same night in my gallery. It takes a person of fairly poor character to make a wholly unsubstantiated accusation such as this, and a person of even less wit to misspell it in the process. Cheers to the anonymous nimrod. (and just in case you read this and your wits fail you again, I am indeed using that in quite a negative connotation)" | |

| 2 Nov 2003 | Tierman <admin0001@ntl...com> | Loading...A little bit of information for you: We have a "young" Venus Fly Trap in a pot in our house . The spikes on the leaves are a lot longer than the ones you've drawn here I'll have to post a copy on my website | |
| 2 Jun 2004 | Anonymous | Loading...Wow, all the emotes... So much vigor... You people blow, your not fairies and your not special, you sit in your basement and draw crappy drawings. Edward P. Woo replies: "As opposed to you, who sit in your basement whacking off to your uninspired criticisms while too afraid to divulge your own identity." | |
| 27 Dec 2004 | Kokuyou | Loading...Rock on, man! You have described those anonymous commentors to leave little to the imagination. I like the idea of this pic, and the way that it shows a possibility for those of us who think faeries are real (no, I'm not criticizing those people, I think you're cool) that instead of a fly, a faerie may be the one who's being chomped. Great pic, very original! Edward P. Woo replies: "Of course, I'm just not satisfied to leave it at "chomped." I can't remember if venus fly traps secrete any digestive fluids, but if they do, she'll probably have a long and miserable end. If not, I know that some carnivorous plants work by simply keeping the prey captive until they expire from starvation/dehydration, then feeding off the decaying body. In that case, being digested probably sounds easier. " | |
| 18 Jan 2005 | Cindy | Loading...Wow, I like this! Venus Flytraps are beautiful. I don't really think this picture is cruel, just an interesting new take on the circle of life if fairies existed. ^.^ Great job. | |
