I'm not sure if everything's correct with this picture... unfortunately I don't know many things about the 'real' samurai... And so I hope that it doesn't matter if there are some mistakes! But when you find some, please tell me!! I'm interested in your opinion and knowledge! *smile* This picture is a pencil drawing. The scene and characters are invented (by me)... but there's no background information about... well, you can imagine what you like ;-)

22 Feb 2003	Chimera	Loading... There's a movie called seven samurai. Just a head's up. But anyway, great pic. I like it muchos. And i think you did well in the samurai-ness of your characters. huzzah yeah. Okie.
22 Feb 2003	Chimera	Loading... You realize there's a movie called seven samurai? It's an old japanese movie, it's good. Just a head's up. But anway, i like youe picutre and everybody's postitioning, it's great. And i agree that's it's like blade of the immortal (that man has talent.)
15 May 2003	Daniel F. Danborg	Loading... The are very few things that i don't love about this picture, and they have nothing to do with any historical facts. As Kit pointed out, samurai mostly, almost excludingly carried their swords on the left side, as do any other warriors(righthanded) to for that matter. Apart from that, there aren't really any "mistakes" to point out, and there is just to say that this is a lovely picture. Good job.

Well gee, I think you did a pretty great job (despite the thinness of that front guys face and the fact that you copied Magatsu Taito for that second guy). But really, I do think you did a bang-up job. My one real qualm is that you named it "The Seven Samurai" and none of those men resemble anything close to the seven samurai in Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai. So if you're going to call it Seven Samurai, draw the seven samurai.
3 May 2004	A fella.	Loading... I'm decently sure he called it " The Seven Samurai " because there's seven samurai... -slaps- Wonderful picture. I personally have no qualm with the side their swords are on, after all, not every samurai was right handed. =P
28 Sep 2004	Anonymous	Loading... Great image. One thing though... the man above the sitting samurai would probably be considered a ninja since he has his face covered up.
