"Air Elemental" by Adam Houston

The Element of Air Ruler of the sky’s. This is the second in the series of elemental art I did.  Created originally from a bad photo of myself taken on my digital camera, this picture is part of the inspiration which prompted me to create the elemental series. The soft out of focus quality of the photo taken by holding the camera up  in front of my face made me  think of the element and is probably one of the main reasons I chose to manipulate 4 self images(those real tacky ones too that you just want to delete)  to create the elemental series  rather than  use four separate posed or planned images.  The fact that by using the same sort of image created a sense of similarity between the four elements also  helped.
