Marya Wynne Nash

Marya Is a Community College Student who is obsessed with the strange and beautiful things that people tend to overlook, or are too repressed to think.

I am a lover of nature, and hope one day to become a roving naturalist. Drawing is one of my intersts, but I often find it difficult to become inspired, because going to college full time can be a bit taxing on the creative mind. I hope that I can draw on the wonderful archives at elfwood for inspiration, and perhaps even begin to download pictures!!! Hahaha.

Stargate SG-1, The X files, weird foreign fantasy/horror films.

Thank you for the color commentary, I often feel that most of the colored works don't work out and appreciate the kind words."

26 Mar 2002	Sarah 'Wren' Skinner	Loading... Your work shows a great deal of talent and imagination. I'd love to see what you could do with a few good life drawing classes under your belt. Right now your best drawings are those that tend towards the cartoonish side, but some of your pencil sketches show much promise for a more realistic style...all you need to do is hone your skill. keep up the excellent work! Marya Wynne Nash replies: "Thank you for the comment. I did take figure model classes over a decade ago now. I do however like the looks of my cartoonish work better, I prefer it in fantasy work. Perhaps I'll place some of my more realistic artwork someday."
