While tremendously helpful to the writer, and essential to the writing process, descriptions should be held to yourself until such a time as when people are somewhat familiar with the world through a story. Yes, there are "Guide to..." books out there, but they are not released until after many stories have been set there, and their purpose is that of FURTHER educating the reader of the world they are passing through. | |
