Just for fun, and for practice.

Been playing D&D recently, I just felt like drawing my character.

Ramlant was more or less raised by dwarves, so the armor I tried to adapt a semi human + dwarf. As for weapons they are just for someone like him, a Ram. : D

Ramlant son of Forrak

"Raised in a the castle of Ferrington, where many noble warriors are born, Ramlant, son of Forrak also respected as the Captain of the Royal Guards in Ferrington. From young Ramlant was thought the ways of fighting, how to wield a sword, mace, spear, shield, anything, any weapon. But being a young boy of his age, not more than 7, he was only thought the basics. He was barely able to hold them, but practice and training did make him stronger in that aspect. He was also, taught the ways of a nobleman, fight to protect. Those words, even though Ramlant's toddler mind didn't really understood, but there was that certain feeling in his heart that did.

Though, not all were fine and dandy for Ramlant. The day was Ramlant's 10th birthday, when the city was invaded, pillaged and burned. It was unexpected as Ferrington tried their best to make allies than enemies, but it seems one of the allies was broken their treaty.

The knights of Ferrington was outnumberd, 5 to 1, surrounded from every corner. Ramlant and his family, his father of course, went about to fulfil his duty, where his Ramlant and his mother tried to escape. In the midst of escaping from inside the castle, a log fell from the above rooftop and knocked Ramlant and his mother unconscious.

Hours have passed, and as soon as Ramlant opened his eyes, he found himself in a tombstone, sleeping amongst the dead, amongst the people of Ferrington, warriors, farmers, men, women and children. It had seemed that, Ramlant was mistaken for a corpse. Though terrified, he shouted at the top of his lungs, but it was dead silence. He looked around, searching for his beloved father and mother, but they were no where in sight, it is that or they are buried under the bodies of many.

He slowly climbed his way out, as it was yet to be sealed.
It was midnight, the fog was thick, and it was cold. Ramlant went back into the tomb to scavenge for cloth to warm his body and anything else useful and sharp. Regardless of the darkness and the eye blinding fog, Ramlant continued on his journey to return home, hoping that his family and friends are still there.

He walked, and he walked, and he walked, until the sun had rose from the vast sky, to find himself collapsing from hunger, thirst and fatigue.

Yet again, as he opens his eyes, he found himself in a warm comfy bed, above was a stoney ceiling and a very warm ambience, it all seemed as a bad dream. But as he looked around, he sees a female Dwarf. One who has taken care of him by the looks of it. The female Dwarf was startled when she saw Ramlant move about, and moments later a big sized dwarf, entered the room and observes Ramlant.

They gave Ramlant a rather warm welcome, but knowing how male dwarves can be, it could still be considered as a warm welcome. Informed that he was asleep for a week, they served him food and he gobbled them down like water.

Ramlant, has found himself in the kingdom of Throm, a dwarf kingdom in the Great Mountains of the Dragon’s Back.

Many attempts were made to travel back to Ferrington, but it seems that Ferrington has been claimed by the enemy and those who rebelled were killed without mercy. That is unwelcomed land for now.

So taken in by these dwarf couples, they honed Ramlant's skills in battle, having been taught by dwarves who are a race born to the fight, and also possessing a warrior's blood, he will use these to search for his family.

Ramlant was nicknamed Ram because of his aggressive and reckless fighting style, always charging with his shield and prefering the use of blunt objects than sharp. Bashing with his shield. =D

Ram stayed with the Dwarves for 10 years, he then journeyed in search for his parents.
A nomad, living on the roads or cities he happens to pass by. Constantly traveling.

He may be reckless to a certain extent, but to him a good defence is the best offence."

Worked on this for so long that I only have a day left for animation. Wee~
