| 8 Jul 2006 | John McElwain | Loading...It's been a while since I've seen you and your art and I can definitely say you're on the right track. You're doing great. One of these days, we need to get together and do some show-and-tell with our art. I am interested in catchig up with how everything has been going for you and from what I herd from Dave, you are doing great. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon. Check ya later Cece. Your old friend, John. M. Binkley replies: "nice hearin from yai deffinitally dont draw as much as i shouldbut i'm workin on it stilli know i wouldnt be where i am with art right now if it wasnt for sittin and watchin you draw that skull helped me understand shading a bit better thanks for thatyou should get some of your stuff up on the netcurious as to what your art looks like nowthe skull was very impressive and that was how many years ago.." | |
| 11 Jul 2006 | John McElwain | Loading...Awww, you remembered. LOL! I'm impressed and flattered that you remembered that skull drawing. But you already had the drive and that kind of drive obviously comes from within. Skulls were my way of reminding myself my style through that simple object so I could further my shading, depth, etc... Although I don't have the internet at home yet, one of these days, I'll find a way to show you a couple of portraits, tribals, and skulls that I did From the time I was in the service to now. Get me on my E-Mail. Tell your folks I said hi. Talk to ya later. M. Binkley replies: "johhnnnn your email doesnt work i dun even know if youll see this haha" | |
| 28 Jul 2006 | John McElwain | Loading...That's wierd...I've gotten mail from other people...try myspace. I just started an account there. It's under johnny__mac (with two underscores opposed to my alternate e-mail which has only one underscore in between cpl and wiggles. If this does'nt work than I'll just get a hold of NakeDave and reach you from there. Sorry. I hope it's not too much trouble. By the way, I'm also working on a new drawing of a portrait which should be complete soon enough. Got anything new. I'd like to see it. Keep me updated. Later. | |
