SciFi and Fantasy Art Valdoran Infantrymen by Richard Yang


	I used a fineliner to draw this. 'The Valdoran infantrymen is wearing platemail(in my design :-)), he is carrying a new design 'Y' shape trident, which are deadly agianst heavy armour and can swich in to a spear. They are famed for their discipline, and they valour.' I enjoy designing armour and weapons very much, hope you like it.

Just some hopefully constructive criticism: 1.) shield is pretty but a bit on the unrealistically curvy side. 2.)how does the Y shape have MORE effectiveness against heavy armor? won't it pierce less easily? 3.)there is no three. I cannot bash that much on a piece i can't even imagine much less draw lol

16 Feb 2004	Brian	Loading... looks at the amount of details found in this artwork...dies with amazement damned i've been browsing through ur collections for a while now...Spending at least 10 minutes over each and everyone of them...I am just awed by the amount of details in all of them..Even for the sketches.Also all your armours look sooooo real and practical(definitely not the stereotyped spiky and oversized one or skimpy one for female armour) i myself is not an artist but when i look at your works ....How i wish i had such talent....You are truely amazing...

9 Dec 2004	Some Drawing Guy	Loading... Very very good. I liked the Valdoran Knight better. But this is still very good. I think the trident should be a spear and he should have a sword ant his side for when enemys get to close.

8 Jun 2008	Lukas	Loading... im a blacksmith in scandinavia, and.. were not that many and i make armour and swords and make well.. metall stuff..actualy i make money to.. i love my worck.. i make my own design and to be honest i somtimes look on the internett to look fore som cool things.. sadly, therse isnt alot.. many arnour design are.. well.. not posible to do because of the mount of layers and shape and movment dosen’t fit.. this one does.. i love it... if i could get the chanse of making this one.. i would be stoked my last question is.. are you a blacksmith? ore have you been studding armour to shuch detail that you understand it? becaouse your armour rocks
