| 5 May 2002 | Jean Tsai | Loading...I am truly amazed! It is not so much your art technique that amazes me as the power of the mind shining through your work. My favorite is indeed the dragon flight--who would have thought that balloons and dragons swirling on the thermals could look so right? Your art is simply of forms and visual play, but the art of essence. | |

They're not high-fantasy enough for here, silly. Remind me to make a real gallery for them (and all my other doodles). My current art webpages are in serious need of updating. : P"

Sometimes it's kind of whimsical...and you make it work. I don't know if anyone's made mention of this, but you're very talented at natural settings...your flowers and trees and such always look wonderful. Kudos.
| 27 Mar 2004 | Keith Trimm | Loading...Sometimes it is hard to critique someone's art because what they present may just be their style. They might say "I meant it to look like that" I will go out on a limb, based on your mod's choice pic and say that you are 53% of where you need to be as an artist. What I mean by that is that, with practice, you will become more acomplished. The points I would choose to express are, depth of field, values (shading) and life drawing. Take a life drawing class at your school and learn to paint from life, your figures will look less plastic. | |
