I like the design elements you have happening with this. Actually, it reminds me of the style they sometimes use with interior design, using elements that are different but which seem to complement each other, in the way you created the figure from shade and shape strongly against the softly shaded, seemingly misty, but more detailed background; you've created something very whole by putting together different techniques, something that gives a sense of aspects but also completeness.

I am a big fan of going against the norm and focusing towards the distance, having the detail in the background while having a less detail with the main figure; I like the discordance and sense of depth it creates, and effect that I find is quite exciting, drawing you into the picture through the figure. Your protagonist sits well in such an eerie perspective.

Waa, there's something totally Sephiroth-esque about this guy XD (err, and that hoping that Sephy doesn't equal a curse word in your book..) Insanely graceful pose, I love him!!Well..What a funny coincidence. Well..what I mean by that is that when I drew Gro's "final" look with hair and all. My friend, Jonna, said that he looks _just_ like Sephiroth. I was just confused and asked "Who???" I didn't know who Sephy was at that time XD When I found a pic of him, I just laughed. Their looks were sooo equal that it hurt X) And poses are just something which borns on paper O.o Am I making any sense?

I love the way you made his hair look as if it's turning into quicksilver and flowing over th edge of the step.
No offense or anything but he reminds me of David Bowie in 'Labyrinth' *cringes with fear if that is not spelt right*...

Ahh yes, math class doodles...or in my case, plot outines and poetry...math sucks. It -totally- sucks.
