I know this isn't your idea of a Kirin or your buddy's idea of a Kirin. I know this isn't the Kirin you saw one gallery over or the Oriental Kirin.
That's right. It's my Kirin. Just like my dragon is different from your dragon and my faerie is different from your faerie.

So any comments on the Kirin as a species will be ignored. Flames will be put out by the volunteer firefighter brigade. If you have something to say on the art, aka composition, pencil technique, etc. please comment!

Oeehhh the lines are just perfect! I like the colour, the tail! Don't know who Kirin is... *realises she makes a big mistake by stating that and silently stalks away*

:-) D. 'Yolaron' Hendrikson replies: "Thanks! don't worry, I didn't know what a Kirin was until I'd been here a while either. They seem to be a breed of Asian or Oriental dragon, but with features resembling a goat or deer and one or two horns. I have yet to see a written description of one in literature, so mine's a composit of my favorites from here in the 'woods. "

cool^^I like the shiny horn. and the shading is really exellent! (spelling?) and I really respect, that you just break the frame, and make up your own version of differnt spiecies in the woods. that cool^^
