Tag As FavoriteComment		I drew this for AyaAgain UK's 2003's conbook. I wasn't sure wether I could upload it elfwood at the time as the con-book wasn't published yet, so I've been holding onto it and as such have only just uploaded it now that the con's over. At the time when I was drawing this piece I was having real trouble making my anime look...er...well anime, lol. I was kinda going through a realism phase and I was having a really hard time breaking out from it. On a final note, I used some methods in this one that I don't normally use... I really wish I hadn't as I'm quite sure I could have done a better job if I'd done it my usual way. Ah well, we live and learn.

Well it turned out great! Grats on the mod's choice, I have the opposite problem, of making my realistic look realistic and not cartoony/anime hehe XD

Well, well, well... It’s nice to see a picture of a mermaid here on Elfwood that isn’t freakin’ topless! That’s kinda rare around here. Most of the mermaid pics people have posted seem to be implying that the kingdom of the underseas is one big freakin’ t***y bar! Furthermore, while i personally am not a big fan of anime, I must admit you have certainly succeeded at capturing the style acurately. Bravo! Well done.

She’s beautiful. Congatulations on the mod’s choice, wot,wot! The webbed fingers are a very good addition, doncha know. It really finishes the bally picture!
