Well it's sure been a long time since I actually drew something with pencils (and here you can see why), all my art these days is digital, so this is pretty rare ^.^;; I was happy with it when I drew it, but now that I've scanned it in I feel as though it's a bit scruffy lookin' and blah.
The people in the pic were originally supposed to be my old manga characters (Azuran, Lilupin and Sylvestran) ...I was trying to make them look 'real' rather than their anime style selves ... but I seem to have just lost it and gone random...doh. I guess that's what happens when I draw on paper. The title may seem irrelavant, but again it's related to the story. The wolf-like critter is *not* a wolf or a dog, but something from my story again. I won't waste time going into details, but the wolf-thing and the dragon are both there because in the story, they are something of a link between the three characters. I need to draw more dragons - I think I'm starting to get worse at dragon art due to lack of practice.
My scanner sucks! On the original pic in my sketch book you can see that I drew all the individual hairs on that wolf-thing, but the scanner seems to have ignored that, and a few other details too... It put stripes on the pic too, but I've tried to remove that in Photoshop, so hopefully that doesn't show now. See why I don't draw on paper any more? It's a waste of time until I can afford a new scanner (not to mention I'm worse at it, lol)>_<+ Pic drawn late 2003 using mechanical pencil on crayola paper (don't laugh).

I think that this is better than your digital works. My scanner too, but only for full colour pics. Excellent picture none the less, and no the scanner lines are invisible.

I'm looking at picture after picture in your gallery, and I'm at a loss for words! I think this is my favorite. It's utterly amazing. The girl is perfect and the guy REALLY appeals to me. 12
I absolutely wish I was as talented as you... first it's anime, then photo-realism, then black-and-white illustration-style, and now this... !?!

This should *definitely* have been a mod's pick.

Awesome. Major congratulations!!!

The softness and style of your drawing reminds me of illustrator Adrienne Segur who was a favorite of mine as a child. Well done!!

The wolf looks a bit like its coming out of the girls head, maybe do a bit of shading to distinguish it?
