*Waves* Yup, it's me again^^. Just gotta stop by and post a comment on yer gallery, too awesome not to. Love the art and the variety of critters hanging about your gallery. Especially love them skulls, i'm a bit of a skull lover so i love it when i find some great art of them so isn't it a great coincidence that you stop by comment on my sole skull??^__^Happy coincidence tho i must say! Also nice to find another self taught artist, i myself am self taught i just don't have all the years and experience you have. You give me hope tho that i can perhaps grow in my own skills. Spotted the pen and inks you got in here^^, i was seriously starting to wonder if i was the only one that did that or called it 'pen and inks'....but hey! I found you so now i know im not^_^. Ok well i'm gonna stop typing now, taking up WAY to much room, just keep it up i'll be sure to visit off and on1.

1 C. Clayton replies: "Welcome back! Glad you like my stuff... and happier still if it is good enough to 'give you hope'. As it happens two of your pic's I commented on had skulls in them... hee hee. A skull fan can find them bones even if they are forgotten, buried, hidden or are thought lost. I do have some experience on ya ...cause I'm "old". But the last six or seven years I have been able to do so little art it is truely sad. Real life has it's demands. I am also glad to find another fellow artist who actually puts pen to paper. Seems weird but they are a bit scarce these days. Don't worry about 'taking up room' you and your comments are most welcome. And in case you did not notice the dates on the comments here they are few and far between. So leave as many as you wish. I hope to post some old pieces soon part of a series I am calling "Classic Clayton" look for peices dated from the late '70's to the '80's. Enough for now. Good things to you "Toothpick"!"

Thank you for your kind comment in my gallery, your bio picture looks really awesome, you made that? 1 I am now going to wander around in your gallery 1 *walks into C. 's gallery*

1 C. Clayton replies: "lol... yep, I painted that with white oil paint on black construction paper. It's like 24"x 14" or something too big for the scanner so it had to be pieced together... anyhoo, a somewhat more realistic pic can be found on my fanart page...lol. I hope you enjoy the sights. Blessings to You, C"

Thank you for your kind comment in my gallery! I got curious at your work, I've seen it before, but I like it 1 what kind of photowork do you do then?

1 C. Clayton replies: "I like to do photography but get very little done these days... I enjoy Black and white. But little if any of my work will meet the thematic requirements of EW. So, I will likely not post any here. Thanx for returning to My humble bower... Your kindness and polite and happy manner bespeak that your beauty is within as well as without. Thank you for returning once again. I may have some OLD work of mine from my childhood (the 1970's) posting in a few weeks please drop in if you have any interest. Blessings and happiness to you and those you love, C"

Well, after looking through your gallery, your pretty much my new fave artist on elfwood. You have so many different techniques and mediums, its like having the talents of 5 different artists in one. Very impressive. Keep 'em commin

<3 rizzle

20 C. Clayton replies: "  Thanx! Compliments like that are rare to receive. Not sure when I'll be posting again as I have not really had time to be doing artwork or even the time to scan in old work just to have something "new" to post. Wishing you all success, C P.S. just in case you haven't checked it out already drop by my fan art gallery. There is a link in the upper right hand corner of my gallery near the top by my bio. Hope you read this and find it... you can see more of my work you may not have seen before. It's mostly my take on other people's characters and stuff, l8r"

wow! i love your gallery. it is so varied with different media and subjects, and they all feel individual if that makes sence ^_^.

you are a brilliant artist and an insperation. i love how you have dark as well as light drawings, and i really want to try a dark drawing (they always start off that way then look too ... cute O.o lol!

thanks for sharing your work

28 C. Clayton replies: "I don't know how I missed your comment... and I appologize for taking soooooooo long to respond. I can say for the last 2 months I have had very restricted internet use, as for before that I guess I just missed ya somehow(?). Glad you like my work. It is always nice to "hear". My variety and versatility are something of trademarks of my style, what I have of one. As for cute stuff I am really rather an anti-cute sort of person... but I try to make myself dabble occasionally even in those styles I dislike or am not so good at/comfortable with. Try making something "dark" AND Cute. (?) It's just a thought. I'll swing by your neck of the woods soon and return the favor. Good things to you and yours, C "

I enjoyed all of your work.. your gallery was one of the most colorful and diverse set of art I've seen on Elfwood so far. Thank you for you contribution to the artistic comunity.

1 C. Clayton replies: "Even odd loner artist types like being part of a community sometimes. I am glad to "hear" you liked my work. Your praise is well savored here. I pray thee return again one day to this bower M'lady... Thank you for your comments and for taking the time to leave them. The best to you and yours, C"

Very beautiful and inspiring gallery you have here, your style is unique and I love your shading and coloring skills. Keep up the good work, I shall be back to visit again to see any updates 2

11 C. Clayton replies: "Thank you ...thank you! As for my odd mix of influences style ...it's a bit generic, but fairly uniuqe you're right. I think my coloring is better using real media rather than computers... I just don't have teh same kind of control. But I try. Though I am a stay at home Dad with a boy of 3 and don't get much time top pursue my art these days I hope I shall be able to post a few things now and then. Thank you for your comments, they are always welcome. I wish you well and shall try to tag you back with a comment or two soon. Good things to you in abundance, C"

*dies from amazment and awe*

Wow......just...wow!! I can't think of anything else to say.. your art is SOOOOOOO amazing! it's unbelievable!!! I love it SOOOO MUCH!!! how did you get to be so good? WoW!!!

Kaat =^..^=

20 C. Clayton replies: "Is that sarcasm? If you are actaully serious... I have gotten to the level of skill I have through much Practice. Being self taught actually sucks for the most part, but you get that awesome sense of satisfaction that comes when you can say you are self taught (not). But seriously my advice, Anything you can learn from other artists and/or art that can help you, use it. I refused to copy other artists work or draw their chararcters for many years I think it really retarded my growth and work as an artist. If your praises are genuine Thank you very much and if they are a joke ... 10P.S. If you ever really want a critique or some advice or suggestions just drop me a line I am (almost) always happy to try and help someone."
