SciFi and Fantasy Art Doctor Paradox by Zachariah Campbell


	This guy's a kind of pulp sci-fi hero I invented out of a list of random unrelated powers... Doc Paradox! He needs a nifty title, like 'Monster Hunter' or 'Challenger of Mystery' to go along with his name, but I haven't come up with one yet... any suggestions? And just in case anyone's wondering, yeah, I kind of had Mike Mignola's work in mind while designing this guy. :)

31 Dec 2004	J. Carpenter	Loading... You echoed Mignola's work well, especially in regards to the pervasive, heavy, blocky shading. I also dig the whole "retro sci-fi" vibe. In regards to another's suggestion that his moniker itself be a paradox, you could call him a "Warrior for Peace," similar to Wonder Woman. On the more whimsical side, I like "Conqueror of the Cosmos," "Protector of the Planets," "Subjugator of the Stars," "Watchman of the Worlds," and most of all, "The Astral Asswhupper." Keep having fun, man. Work always suffers when you don't. Zachariah Campbell replies: ""Wonder Woman" is a paradox? "

30 Apr 2005	Paul	Loading... odd ... I have an online comic at www.slambang.us, that looks almost the same. Funny how people can come up with the same ideas. Zachariah Campbell replies: "Really? Hey, send me a link, man! I couldn't find it on SlamBang.com, but I wanna see it! I know what you mean about the same ideas popping up. For 10 years now, I had this great idea for a short film I wanted to make.. and then somebody else made it as SHAUN OF THE DEAD. That'll teach me to sit on an idea for too long I guess. "
