SciFi and Fantasy Art F06: Karasu by Zachariah Campbell

Karasu is a ninja from the Henje-Go clan. She's fast and clever, and specializes in airial techniques. Like all members of her clan, she has chi-based ninja Magic as well as the signature Henje-Go shapechanging abilities (which is why all Henje-Go take their names from animals).

Actually, she was kind of intended to be one half of a palette-swapped Ken/Ryu-type duo of characters from our table-top futuristic fighting game. Her 'sister' ninja is Nezumi

7 Feb 2003	Ravi weber@red...com>	Loading... Karasu looks a great warrior but i'm not sure if you intended it with the baby-face look...when is Nezumi coming over... Zachariah Campbell replies: "Well, I think the baby-face look is actually a by-product of the anime style I'm working in these days. In the case of this series of characters, it was a particular choice, since they're all inspired by those Capcom fighting games."

26 Jan 2005	Darren	Loading... very cool though a little lacking. How about some texture in the hair and some creases in the clothing? Zachariah Campbell replies: "I think that would disrupt the simple forms and the integrity of the animation-esque minimal design. Don't you?"
