This is a more recent pic of La Muerta, a character that I seem to draw a lot. Why? No clue... I guess because she's hot in a kind of scary way. She has kind of a different hairdo here.

If anyone with a native knowledge of Spanish or Portugese out there feels like it, let me know if this name actually works... I know it's not grammatically correct, but does it sound kind of cool at least?  :)

To give some context for this picture, she's supposed to be sitting down on something... maybe a ledge or something... but I didn't draw it in.  Heh. It's not meant to be an action pose.

Uh ! Walnut crushing thighs !

Okay, I know the 'look' of your work, and I'm not thinking that this one works very well. I'm confused by her pose - she's quite static, though I would imagine she HAS to be in movement, but the only move I can visualise is her tipping over. Sorry.

Her left (my right) arm is terribly confusing, too. I know she's long limbed, but something about the forearm and how it joins to the upper arm seems off. It's hidden by her knee, but I think it's got a bad joint there.

Okay, I'm done being a critic. I think her name is quite cool, speaking as someone with no knowledge of Portugese, Spanish, or Italian. Go with it.

:-) Zachariah Campbell replies: "Hm. Well, actually, she's sitting down (on white space?). I guess that's the problem with not drawing proper backgrounds. Maybe if I added a shadow...? I don't really see the problem with the elbow (I drew the whole arm out before the knee came in), but then, I've been drawing arms funny lately. Real stylized, so I don't doubt it looks wrong maybe. Maybe I'll try the ol' mirror flip trick, and see if it still looks fine to me. 2"

OK, so, just to start off I do really like this pic. The only things I can really see that might possibly need fixed (other than the aforementioned elbow problem) that her right breast seems a tad, umm... squished... perhaps if you brought it down just a touch a filled it out a bit more...

also, her right leg looks like it just kinda stops, maybe if you added the start of her calf, just the back, it wouldn't look so much like she's got just a stump there.

but all the same, great work! seriously

As to the name... hmm, The Dead (of a female persuasion)
I like it, and just so you know, La Muerta is correct, since she's female

:-) Zachariah Campbell replies: "Well, actually the calf was there, but I cropped it to reduce the size and get more detail. Hm.Tried out the breast thing and messed with the elbow. Result?
-elbow is fine...arms are just stupidly long
-breast looks more squeezeable... other than that, not much diff 2Glad to know that the name works... thanks for the info! 2"

Well first of all i must say that your art is really really good! =) you have a great style so i hope you keep it up so that i can step by and check out your great art! And as i'm portuguese i also wanted to tell ya that the name actually works from what i've seen of this nice young killer! The name actually means the dead one, i don't know if it was what you intended, but if you want to call her death you have to write "la muerte"! =) anyway i hope i was of any help! Hehe cya!

:-) Zachariah Campbell replies: "Hey, thanks Luis!"The Dead One" has a nice ring to it, so I'm glad the name works out. Since La Muerta is spiritually dead on the inside (metaphorically speaking) it's very appropriate. Cool. 2"
