Heh.. this is kind of a Christmas pic...

Fenrick is an RPG character belonging to a friend. He's a toymaker by trade, who went out into the world looking for adventure. He used to have a little snowy-white beard, but he shaved it off to impress a woman, who really was much too big for him. He's picked up a lot of skills, and is a top notch engineer now... but every winter, he still makes time to go work for his old boss 'up North'. :)

Gnomes in our old RPG game are a bit different from the current model. They're tinkerers and builders , but they are also very small, and very, very fast... sometimes just a blur. Complex devices can be assembled by Gnomish hands in mere seconds, provided they don't experiment along the way. Sometimes a Gnome's penchant for building becomes a corrupted thirst for chaos and sabotage... these 'dark Gnomes' are called Gremlins, and the havoc an infestation can cause is beyond imagination...

Ah, looks like he's got one too many digits, but you know; I'll blame that on his BLISTERING speed.
I like all the pockets, you never cease to amaze me with the amount of detail ( and such precise detail at that!) that you plug into your work.
And weapons....
*drools*

:-) Zachariah Campbell replies: "Heehee... well I guess it didn't take so long after all. My gnomes DO actually have six fingers on each hand (I mean, how sleepy do you have to be to accidentally draw 6 fingers on -both- hands?). I decided to leave that out of the description because I was curious if anyone would even notice. 2 Thanks though Kelli, since it means you were realllly looking. 2"

:-) Zachariah Campbell replies: "Dang disrespectful teenage sultans! (shakes cane)"

I really like this picture, it's the best Gnome I've found on this site. I play a Gnome in an online game and I'd like to know if I could use this for his picture, maybe you would give me permission to remove the hat and color him? If not, still a great picture though.

Like absolutely everything about this one (6 fingers an' all).... EXCEPT - the Christmas Elf hat has got to go! It just doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the pic.

:-) Zachariah Campbell replies: "Well, the hat's a character bit. He wears the gnome hat (yes, a christmas hat) because... He gots to REPREZENT to all his HOMEY-GNOMIES back in the North Pole Central HOOD y'all! Peace OUT and TOYZ to all!! Word UP!!No, seriously. He is one of Santa's elves. (actually gnomes)."

Dark gomes are gremlins? Better not let them get wet then...

:-) Zachariah Campbell replies: "Well, not THOSE kinds of Gremlins... 2But it's the same idea... wild little buggers who like to wreck things... or sabotage them."

Yo cool picture, but there's something weird about the hands
does he have five fingers and a thumb?

:-) Zachariah Campbell replies: "Oh. Yeah, he does actually... we were talking about that in some earlier posts above. My Gnomes have six digits total per hand... you can see them on both of his hands. I guess it shows how crazy awesome their manual dexderity is.Now, the OTHER Gnome picture in this gallery (Badge) doesn't have 6 fingers because he's a more traditional D&D Gnome, not part of the same world as Fenrick here. "

Like the gremlin idea... Used it meself once sept mine were greenskins (a catch-phrase for trolls, orcs, goblins, and gremlins) so... Yah

:-) Zachariah Campbell replies: "Gremlins are a fun idea... were yours super-fast too? "
