One of these days, I'm just gonna open a gallery of exclusively 'thief girl' pics. I don't know where they come from, but for some reason, I have a lot of them.

This girl is an old role-playing NPC from waaaay back. She's actually 'more than she appears to be'... but 'more than she knows'... go figure. She's abnormally strong, which is why she carries that large sword. The sword itself fits mostly inside of a magical bag... making for one heck of a surprising "quick-draw" effect. :)

I like the way this drawing came out... it wasn't laboured at all, which is nice for a change. :)

Anyways, both are awesome. Zachariah Campbell replies: "Heh, I actually have never played any of the Final Fantasy games... I looked up Yuffie, and she seems like more of a "ninja chick" to me. It's funny, I never designed this character along the "anime" aesthetic, but now when I look at her (a small skinny girl with impossible proportions and a HUGE sword), she pretty much demands a manga treatment! "

9 Jul 2004	J. D.	Loading... The sword's not abnormally large at all. It's fairly modest for a two hander, really. The boobs on the other hand, well other several hands... And what's a thief doing with a two handed sword anyway? Basically, because they're so difficult to parry quickly with, you need a lot of room for footwork, never mind actually swinging the thing, so unless she makes a habit of breaking into ballrooms, she'd be better off leaving it home and just charming her way in, using her, ah, other assets. Zachariah Campbell replies: "Too true! As I said, this is an -old- RPG character, before adolescent boys saw fit to trouble themselves with such astute logic. Note the boobs. The sword is a modest 2-hander, but huge for someone of her stature and profession. For this pic I drew the sword as an authentic claymore , instead of a "fantasy" great sword (see Citadel miniatures, heh) because I was getting sick of "fantasy" armour and weapons. The real stuff is just cooler.There was a gimmick though: she had this magic unlimited belt pouch, where the sword would be placed until drawn... kind of a quick-draw surprise weapon."
30 Dec 2004	Kaegan N. Cusenbary	Loading... I really like this piece, especially her face, but her left leg is a little off, otherwise, love it! Zachariah Campbell replies: "hmmmm... what is it about that leg? I'm thinking that maybe the kneepad is a little off (too centered). The legs are pretty thin, and her feet are big and flat, but that's more just a style thing. Wait! Do you mean HER left or OUR left... ? "

Of course, some people just don't want to admit this, but there are actually women out there with... er... "disproportionate" bodies like this, naturally. Don't believe me?
