Actually, she's not a true fox spirit at all, but a magical super-ninja, with the usual array of special powers that make her appear to be something other than human.

But she needs a name, a disguise, that will strike fear into the hearts of criminals, who are a superstitious and cowardly lot, and... hmmm... this sounds familiar. Ahem.

Anyway, she's supposed to have a mask, a large white fox-helmet, which she's not wearing here.

This is actually a detail of a larger pic which is no longer in this gallery. I really like the expression I caught here in her face.

I saw the full drawing of this girl and I immediately noticed her face, but now that I can see it up close I see it's even better than I thought. I love her expression
