| 29 Nov 2004 | Shang Gao | Loading...Yeah, I agree with Julia, nice armor. The look on her face is cool too, hehe. Great pic.I had trouble getting the face to carry the weight of the armour... I mean, to be honest, this picture should have been called "Dark Elven Armour (with girl)" | |
| 29 Nov 2004 | Julia Doering | Loading...Well, I've no idea what character-class a 'chick' is, but she looks really nice. Especially her armor - very darkelven!Heh. It's a generic class, the female counterpart to the "Dude". See also "Thief-Chick", "Elf-Dude", "Ranger-Dude", "Undead-Chick", etc... | |
| 28 Jan 2005 | Darren | Loading...Definately one of my favorites! Zachariah Campbell replies: "Because of a semblance of background, perhaps? A veneer of colour and texture? Is it a lack of missing elements according to an art checklist, that makes you like it? Or is it a gut thing?" | |
| 28 Apr 2005 | RAVEN | Loading...OK don't drow use scimitars? But that would would be hard to leam on, now wouldn't it? HeeHee. Great pic. Zachariah Campbell replies: "I dunno. I know that the most -famous- Drow character uses scimitars, but I'm not sure if that's the norm.Long, long ago... before Forgotten Realms and Drizz't, the D&D group I played in held that all Drow were naturally ambidextrous, and often carried "trintil swords"... cruel, jagged, multi-point blades. I don't know where that comes from... an older edition of AD&D maybe? Anyway, that description of the race has somehow stuck in my mind. That sword is a Trintil sword, I guess. " | |
| 27 Dec 2006 | Rebekah | Loading...Hmm...Yes. Very good. Spikes are good, but are usually seen on males.....Her eyes should be red, and no, drow do not use scimitars, they use whatever they like.....The sword is nice...Too jagged for a drow sword though....Did she get it from the surface? Zachariah Campbell replies: "Uh... no. It was made for her by the Dark Elf smiths, with their arsenal magicks... for only they have the craft necessary for a weapon of such chaotic form, yet deadly function. If you read my response to the above comment, you must understand that not all gamers play in the "official" world. Some of us even make up our OWN worlds, with our own imaginations. Heh.So in response, spikes are fine on her... the decoration indicates her status as a warrior noble from a chaotic clan. Her eyes shouldn't be red because the Dark Elves have milky, almost opaque eyes that shine silver in the pitch black of the underworld.Welcome to the world of other peoples' interpretations of fantasy (not just AD&D)... stay a while. Relax. Have fun. " | |
