SciFi and Fantasy Art Limping Feline by Dusty ´Zalein´ Griffinson

The tall cat shifted in the down-scaled kitchens, trying to get comfortable in this virtually invisible alclove between shelves. The rest of the cats in his team had gone ahead into the tunnel--because he was injured, he was left behind to make sure no mice tried to seal the exit.
Mice.
Personally, the cat had no grudge against them. He preffered the taste of fish, anyway. But the big cats higher up had commanded it, so his team of cats was to break into the mice's castle, and search for the Emerald.
The emerald.
The emerald that would make the wielder's magical talents multiply by numbers as long as his arm.
His thoughts were startled out of their lines and tracks when he heard voices. Not feline voices. Shifting uneasily, the cat tried to limp a bit further into the shadows, keeeping as much weight off of his injured limbs as possible. If the mice tried to cave-in the entrance, he would not stop them.
After all, they just might be his ticket out of this mess...

Done in Photoshop. A lazy background, I couldn't seem to get it right after a few tries. So I did this. Comments? Feedback? Critique? Anything? ^^

This is not based on any setting or any characters from Redwall!! ^^; Everything is original!!

28 Aug 2006	Edward Ramirez	Loading... I really like the style, the simplicity of the background which enables more focus on the character. And I the sketchy edges and stuff. (Sorry, I don't have the slightest knowledge in art terminology, haha. But I know enough to say that this is a cool pic.) Good job.
