Her eyes arn't normally orange, but I thought red looked ridiculously cliche and cheesy... just wanted to do a lighting study (no reference used, but gosh darndit I wish I could've FOUND ONE. I know there are tons of errors here X_X. I, apparently suck at googling and couldn't find a flashlight-held-under-chin image to save my life ~_~). Kinda creepy pic X_X. Speedpainting yay (about an hour and a half)

I think you actually did VERY well with the lighting! (And aspecially if you had no reference!) I feel I'm repeating everyone else's comments, but I have to say it: I LOVE her eyes! I especially like the different shades of orange and (a little yellow) you used in them. I'll have to check out all the rest of your gallery, if the rest is even HALF as good as this! This is wonderful!

I love this pic. I love 'dark' pics, the mood they give, are so calming. Looks like a gothic type pic, my fav kind. You did a beautiful job on this pic. I wish I could hang it up on my wall in a nice black frame. I don't care for unrealistic pics, they're okay, but not my fav. You captured everything I love in a picture. It's realistic, dark, and something that makes your mind get lost in endless thoughts, well mine anyway. I wonder if these type of pics also do the same for others as well as me also.

Truly mesmerizing. I especially admire the contrast between the blue hued color pallet and the orange eye; great choice. The hair is is a great illusion. (As for me, it looks as though the hair outlines what would have been "stained glass", hence your title. 2 Kudos to you and keep it up!
