	My entry to the graphics compo at Kindergarden 2009. Placed 3rd. Made with a wacom, Photoshop CS3 and Painter X. I'm not pleased with her face, but I got really fed up with her at the end :P Oh, and least I made an attempt to make a background this time :P

Taking ’connecting with nature’ to a whole differnet level, but there is some truth to this visualisation - I’ve noticed that humans tend to ’whilt’ somewhat if they are locked in concrete walls and streets for too long. Her face could be a little better, but in a way this half-frown may even be more effective than a smile in getting across the need she has for recharging in the first place. Perhaps her expression would change once she has regained her energy. Have you thought of animating this? I don’t think it would need all that much work and the effect could be quite something. ~#G

Yes, my thought was that her hands turns into roots to connect to the earth. When she’s drawn enough energy from the earth, her hands turn back again "
