Me again. I forgot a few things...
PENCILS ON PHOTOCOPY PAPER RULESS!!!!!!!! I use that too.I also like writing stories, and I am a scientist before an artist (because of the relative chances of being employed). If you don't believe me, come and see my site. It's aaaall true.

Welcome to Elfwood Swift Raven. I'm new here too, so it probably shouldn't be me welcoming you. Oh well, I'l do my best to crit your pics, as they show quite a bit of potential. Keep up the good work, and remember to keep on sending them in!!!

:-) Rena V. Swift replies: "Thanks for the comments and the suggestions. Hmmm...I didn't know there was a difference between griffin and gryphon, thanks. And I'll work on details (and faces, esp. men's faces *shudder*). Thanks."

Wow! How cool to have a name that can be turned into Swift Raven! You lucky girl!

You're stuff is great for a 14 year old. I see a whole lot of potential in you, especially in your people. I'd say the most important piece of advice I can give you is to keep drawing until your hand hurts. I've been in art school for over a year now, and the most important thing is to keep working, and never stop. And, whenever possible, draw real people. They're not as fun, but you can always draw a real person and then put him in armor later ;-) Plus, there is no substitute for the knowledge you will gain from drawing live people posing for you. Proportions, shading, light, form... all of these will come really quickly. I can't wait to see more of your work!
