| 23 Oct 2009 | Tom Draco Noir Taylor | Loading...You are a wonderfully talented artist, Lian! My wife Lynn (purple dragoness) and I both really admire your work. What sort of cats do you have? we have a traditional Siamese(not the really skinny ones, the ones called here "Apple heads" named Klingon. He escaped the house the other night, since it was cool and he wanted to romp and play outside. We live in the Arizona desert, near a large wildlife preserve, and have many wild animalsin the area, such as coyotes . We were therefore worried and left our doors open so he could come in. Imagine our surprise when at midnight , in strolls a wild pig !(Javelina , or collared peccary) into our kitchen! I chased it out- but our cat didn’t come in till 4 o’clock! Lian Zhen replies: "Hi,
Thank you , I am glad that I have found more cat lovers, I have a cat at home, I will upload it here for you to appreciate, my cat is a poet.
I wish I can live in a place like yours with animals around, I see animals only in my imaginations.
Lian" | |
| 25 Oct 2009 | Tom Draco Noir Taylor | Loading...At least you have your poet kitty, Lian. We do indeed enjoy seeing the wild animals, even if some do get a little TOO close. We have a mountain lion(cougar or puma they are called too) that occasionally jumps up on our roof as a hunting platform to hunt the wild pigs. And once, Lynn had been outside at night and came in with what I thought was a brown hair bow. "where did you get that brown hair bow?" i asked her, and she said "what hair bow?" then it flew from her head- it was a baby bat! | |
