| 17 Jan 2004 | Ryan Caisse | Loading...Hello Rebecca- Just wanted you to know that I think that you have some good work on your site. If you are looking for things that may help your art, I can tell you what has helped me in the past. I think that the key to developing one's work is to observe things in as much detail as you can and try to capture it on paper. A good way to do this is to practice drawing say, creatures with scales, and use what you've learned while drawing scales and apply it to your next dragon drawing. Also, there is alot to be said for the contrast between light and dark in drawing. Oftentimes, placing lights and darks in close proximity to on another can yield some realistic effects. Hope this helps, and keep creating, you are on the right track! Rebecca R. Reizner replies: "So many nice poeple giving me so many tips. Thanks for stopping by." | |
